Welcome to Bob's Bar.

We are a traditional family run pub situated on the banks of the River Erkina halfway between Dublin and Cork in the picturesque village of Durrow , Co.Laois.

We were delighted to be awarded with 'Laois Pub of The Year' for 2022 and we thrive on welcoming local and visitors alike as if they are part of our family.

Bob's is one of Ireland's oldest pubs dating back to 1832 . Many original features still remain within the bar including the original 'Boat House' which is now our most popular function room hosting weekly functions such as Wedding Day 2 parties & various other celebrations.

Bob's is known as a 'Museum Pub' and is full of history & character with it's memorabilia , antiques and old photos everywhere you look.​

Known for it's famous pint of Guinness and it's cosy atmosphere, it's the perfect spot for a catch up with a friend or a group get together.
